Video games are our main source of entertainment in this house.  We all love them.  We sometimes enjoy playing them together.  If the video game system is educational while being fun, that’s a big bonus.

My daughter, being 5, is still a little too young for her own Nintendo DS or other handheld system.  But I’ve found that she loves the Vtech MobiGo 2!

About the Vtech Mobigo 2 Touch Learning System

With the MobiGo 2 Touch Learning System with Motion, kids ages 3-8 can enjoy having their own educational handheld toy that engages them while they learn. MobiGo 2 has the same great touch screen play as the original MobiGo, and now offers a motion sensor and microphone, adding two new features for kids to explore. Now kids have four ways to play with their MobiGo2: the touch screen, the keyboard, the motion sensor, and the microphone. There are many built-in and downloadable apps that include e-books, coloring books, an art studio, a photo album and more. Only from VTech.

Easy Setup and Free Downloads

It was very easy to setup and get the MobiGo 2 running with the included software.  When you install and sign up, you will get three free game downloads.  The downloads were easy to pick and quick to download and get onto the system.  Which was wonderful since my daughter was practically begging me to let her have it.

Affordable, Fun Games

All of my kids have enjoyed (aka fought over) the MobiGo 2.

They love the Hamster Highway game which uses the systems motion sensor.  Kids tilt the device back and forth to steer the Hamster to racing victory.  They have also enjoyed the coloring book that is preloaded.

The games seem to start around $2.99 which is very affordable for this type of system.

The MobiGo 2 can be purchased on Amazon, and at local retailers such as Target and Walmart for approximately $59.99.

Which handheld learning system has your child used in the past?

*I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for VTech. I received product samples to facilitate my review.
