Just Bee Generous – Random Acts of Kindness

I love the idea behind Just Bee Generous!

If you ever wanted to ‘Pay It Forward’, this is a great way to do it and keep it going!

I received a youth t-shirt from justbeegenerous.com and along with it came three JBG (Just Bee Generous) cards to be used in three anonymous acts of kindness.

The idea is to chose a random person (unless you have someone in particular picked out) to do something nice for, without any strings attached.  And do it anonymously.

My child and I decided it would be fun to use one of our cards at Walmart.  I loaded a shopping card with $10 and instructed the cashier to use it on the next customer’s  order.  She was very kind about it and agreed to give them the JBG card.

On the back of the card is a message stating:

That’s right.  Some stranger just made your day a bit nicer.  No strings attached.  Enjoy the moment.

Put this card in your wallet.

If the opportunity arises to be generous to someone else – days, weeks, months, or years from now – take htis card out and use it in an anonymous act of generosity with another stranger.

The shirts come in several sizes and colors and are great to use as gifts!

These t-shirts are a wonderful teaching tool for children.  Along with the cards they can be taught the importance of helping others, of doing something nice for someone, just because.

It’s exciting to know that just one t-shirt and the three cards that came with it could trigger a lasting chain of giving with each card.  I still have the other two to use, but have a few ideas.  If you need help thinking of a way that you can Just Bee Generous, you can find some here.
