School is right around the corner, again. Even though my kids aren’t excited, Caillou is. Your kids can join him on his adventures in Caillou Goes Back to School. This disc has four episodes filled with many adventures and learning opportunities for your child. In this fun-filled DVD Caillou visits the library with his little sister Rosie, and learns the best place to read his borrowed books. He learns how to compromise with his friends when they all want to play different things. Caillou takes a fiield trip with his class and learns about apple orchards. He learns that sometimes accidents can turn into good things. Caillou learns all of these things and more as we follow him on his adventures.
All of the episodes are educational and fun to keep your child interested and learning. Some of the specific elements of learning included in this DVD are reading, imagination, nature, and art.
Our Thoughts
We had never seen Caillou before and when I first showed it to my toddler, she was excited to watch it! She won’t go to school for another two years, but this disc has more to learn than going back to school. For instance Caillou and his little sister learn about going to the library; how to act, getting their own library cards and how to treat the books they borrow. My daughter loves going to the library so she found this episode quite interesting.
Since first watching one of the episodes, it is now all she asks to watch. She would sit down and watch the whole 100 minutes if I let her. And I wouldn’t feel as bad knowing she is learning from it.

I like your post about what you learned on vacation. Although I can’t relate to breastfeeding in a cave, I can relate to how the “theme parks” take advantage of you with their expensive prices, knowing your not going to want to turn your child down from having a special sovenier from that vacation. Gift Shop should charge less, they already make enough money off the people coming in. Imagine how many people buy from that gift shop a day. If they took a dollar off each item, I think they still would do pretty good.
